Speeding through two movies over the day.

Big Nothing (2006)

Funny movie starring Simon Pegg ('Shaun of the Dead'), David Schwimmer ('Friends'), among others. Charlie (Schwimmer) is unemployed, while his lady works within the local law enforcement. He's trying to get his book published but hasn't had any luck with publishing houses. He grabs hold of a shitty job on a phone support office. He gets fired the first day, but not until he has gotten acquaintanced with Gus (Pegg). Gus has a mastermind plan on a scam that will make them rich. Here we go. I was at first surprised, this is not a British movie. Simon Pegg knows how to kick it with American accent. Farily entertaining till the end.

Hoodwinked (2005)

Outstanding work on the animation, I must say. I was fairly impressed. The story held on pretty well too, just that I must say that my personal joy over the comical adventures. However, a must-see for all kids out there. From what I can read over at IMDb there will be a sequel this year. Interesting. Oh, you all know this story about little Red, carrying goods to her granny. Well, this is a modified story, but it's very entertaining so I don't mind.

This just in..

Had a call from Eric. He was intoxicated, like just about every Friday. He wasn't all spaced out though, I managed to change a few words with him. He was concerned about a mutual friend of ours. Well, aren't we all. I didn't say much though, it felt that this was about Eric, and his need to have someone listening. So, even if I did reflect on anything, or even added personal opinions, he would probably not register those. The changeover from him lecturing about serious matters to him suddenly going "Can I call you back in about twenty minutes?" went very fast. "Of course!". I doubt that I will recieve another call from him tonight. If I will, it will be past midnight, and his voice will be slurred, to say the least.
