Movie: "Liar Liar" (1997)

Hehe, even though this one is almost considered a Carrey classic, I can't remember ever having seen it - not until now. A great laughter, with that twinkle in it's eye. The story is about Fletcher (Jim Carrey), a lawyer (or liar - what's the difference?), who has a five year old son, Max, who lives with his mother and her new boyfriend Jerry. Fletcher has a pretty good relationship with his son, except the fact that work always seems to come first. "It's just this thing I have got to take care of, then baseball, I promise".

((Like you havn't heard and/or seen that scenario in real life like trillions of times. It's like most people don't seem to understand the serious consequences this could have to a young child's development. I mean like, calls for independence versus a great demand for attention. Who knows.))

Anyways, back to the story. Fletcher misses out on Max fifth birthday (of course because of work), who of course gets really sad and disappointed. When he blows out his candle, he silently wishes that his father will not be capable of lying for a whole day. Wham! The almighty mister makes his wish come true. Being a laywer and all, you may understand that lots of funny situations is to come. Finally, a cute little touch in the end. Great film, a must see, for all ages.
