Movie: "Fracture" (2007)

Amazing crime film!

Watched this film just an hour ago. Not really sure what genre to put it in, but I'll drop the basic plot. Mr. Crawford (Anthony Hopkins) finds his wife in an affair. He seems to have known this for a while, but it's in the beginning of the movie he actually confronts her with it. A couple of minutes later she's lying dead on the floor. How? Well, Ted Crawford doesn't make a big secret out of being the assassain, it's the investigation that seems to be the problem. District attorney Willy Beachum (Ryan Gosling) is assigned the case. So, his job is to collect the pieces to something that will hold as convicting evidence. Piece of cake, huh? Mr. Crawford did even confess his crime to the first officer arriving on the scene. There are also witnesses verifying that Mr. Crawford did not come out of the house between the shots and the actual arrest. How hard could this be? So, the murder weapon still have to be in the house, right? Not so fast, this story is getting wild, and the conviction will turn out to be quite a hassle, simply because Mr. Crawford is a true mastermind.
