Robin - 21!

An old friend of mine turns twenty-one today. Congratulations, for what it's worth. I dislike birthdays in general. Why making this huge celebration about moving towards the end of one human being's life cycle? I just don't get it. However, guess you could turn it around the other way.

"C'mon, please.. We're just celebrating the fact that he has managed to stay alive through all these years. Of course, in life there will be tears too.."

Pitiful way of thinking, if you ask me. I prefer to keep a more solid perspective on life. If I wouldn't, I guess things would be more of a hassle for me then. Riding the fast lane through life, is that perhaps the best way? Is that where I'm at right now? I'm not sure. I'm only twenty-four, I don't have all the answers.

However, this one's for Robin.
