Movie: "Blade Runner" (1982)

Gash, another film that I should have seen a long time ago. Actually, I did recall some of the scenes, particularly when Roy and Pris descends upon J.F. Sebastian at his apartment. Oops, I guess I'm on my way of spoiling important act now. I'll give it a rest.

This is one of the best science fiction movies I've seen. The photography is brilliant. The movie is made 1982 and it feels so damn beautiful. I didn't watch it in HD, and still, amazing setup. I'm principally talking about the L.A. skky view. Rock steady. Is the shit. Really!

So, scientists has come up with those replicants, which is an artificial lifeform, but it looks and feels like just any other human being. Truly amazing. These "human robots" are mainly used for dangerous operations in space and suchlike, due to the fact that no one will miss them if they go black. However, these replicants gets self-aware in a way their developers didn't think they ever would, so shit is soon about to hit the fan. A robot takeover in massive scale? Well, perhaps, perhaps not. Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford) is a retired blade runner, which is a force whose main assignment is to track down and shut off (the old traditional PANG way*) any stray replicants they find. You see, due to an earlier mishap, all replicatans are banned from Earth limits; giving any officer the right to shoot them at sight.

Now, confirmed rumours has it that four replicants is loose on earth. Four dangerous(!) replicants. So dangerous that the first blade runner of choice had failed to eliminate them. Therefore, Rick Deckard is convinced that he has got to go back in duty. Outstanding sci/fi flick!

8/10
