Hadn't seen this one since I was.. well really way too young to watch it! However, it was so long ago so that I'd forgotten all the details, even big parts of the plot. So, watched it the other night with my fiancé. This is close to two hours of pure fun. I read that this script (written by Tarantino; then after minor modifications directed by Oliver Stone) was in general opinions considered to be one of this famous director of controversial subjects worse efforts. Olé! Oliver Stone himself claims that this was just a monumental achivement, something he felt as needed to be done. Hell yeah, I say. Slaughter and ruthless bestial brutality, that just have to be done. So, what's in it? Mickey (Woody Harrelson) will (by pure coincidence) be the knight in shining armor that saves Mallory (Juliette Lewis) from her abusive father. In fact, he simply kills them. From here on those goes on a nation-wide killing spree. Heh, [like most other script gone through Tarantino] the story takes place in the dirty south. This is a film that everyone just has to have seen.
