Saturday!

Wow, the sun keep on spreading it's warmtm. It must really be the hottest period this summer, 'cuz - truth to be told - it hasn't been that great viewed on the whole.

For dinner, we had hamburgers.

Gosh, with a real salad setup and everything, hamburgers are really nice food. It was actually a month or so since I had my last cheeseburger on Mc'Donalds, this is so much better.

Wild Hogs (2007)

So, my beauty princess needed a few hours of sleep, and since I didn't feel especially tired, I decided to watch this one, a comedy which she had already earlier explained she just wouldn't watch. Why? Because of John Travolta. She thinks of him as Grease, and can't see him as a "hog", or anything else for that matter. Anyways, I watched it. It was actually ok. Not like you havn't seen almost every possible comedy story there is to think of (again and again) already, but I actually laughted a bit here and there. Travolta, Martin Lawrence, Tim Allen ('Home Improvement'), William H. Macy, four middle-age men riding cross country on their bikes. One man blowing up a biker bar, another man defeating his fear of women. Anyways, the downside is that I think they could have gone to a few more places. The trip is supposed to be held "on the open roads", but the quartet gets stuck on the Chili festival. Can't rate a comedy like this on a scale, so we'll drop the subject.

Towards the end of the movie, she had woken up, heading for the kitchen. She had closed the door so I was sort of wondering what she was up to in there, until just about when the end credits started rolling. The door opened, and the first thing I noticed was the smell, mmmmmmmmmm...

Goodies at night time, so nice. We just couldn't go to sleep, even though clock was around Midnight. So, we decided to watch a movie.

Little Children (2006)

This was great. At first, I was really wondering what this was going to be like, a New Line Cinema movie with a duration time of past two hours. Anyways, none of us lost interest thoughout the timeline. You could say this is a couple of parallel stories. From the start, you get acquaintanced with a quartet of women, with the common similarity that they all bring their perambulators. So, a bounce of parents talking gossip in the park, where can this lead? Add a pedophile, just released from prison, to this - so far - Desperate Housewives looking story. Then add a forbidden affair, a former cop running his own safe neighbourhood marathon, and a couple of other things. Hang on there, this is getting interested in an own sort of way. The story is covered by the voice of someone painting a portrait on the characters thoughts and feelings, just like the voice that usually appears at the end of a Desperate Housewives episode. So, around 2h11m later, clock showed past 2 AM and we were both feeling tired. Went to sleep, fully satisifed with the day.
