Movie: "Sunshine" (2007)

Gah!

Worst piece of film I've seen in a long time. Just a messy story with lots of fireworks if you ask me. Like I told my beloved lady after we had watched it: "I've seen fireworks in just about every aspect there is. Scenes that is ment to pull people's eyes wide open, is just another set of pyrotechnics to me. It won't fly." Besides, this story didn't bring anything. No, it's probably at least a couple of thousand(?) years till we have to start worrying about the sun. The only slightly interesting view in this movie must have been how self-centered people get in moments of press. Like, who's life is of least importance? Who is to be sacrificed? Scary, just a little bit. The only thing that kept my thoughts going when the night came was Cillian Murphy's crystal blue eyes. Can't think of anyone with such blue eyes. He has got to be wearing lenses. She tells me that Elijah Wood also has that crystal blue sea. Havn't thought about it though, seems that Frodo hasn't got the same heat in his gaze.

Cillian Murphy's eyes are-- and aren't-- that blue. In real life, they're a little darker. But you shine those mega-watt set lamps in 'em, and BAM! Clear as crystal!

But yes, "Sunshine" was an amazingly bad film. How dumb could one crew of astronauts (or is that astroNUTS) be...? I'd sooner try re-starting the sun with our overnight cleaning crew. Purty special effects can only do so much to cover up the fact that YOU HAVE NO SCRIPT, Danny-boy!
