Firefox 3 is out!

So, since I'm like the ultimate support of Mozilla products (using Thunderbird for POP3 e-mail since a couple of months; have been using Firefox _only_ since the beginning of time) this felt really great. Yeah, I do know that the beta version of Mozilla Firefox 3 has been out for like half a year or something like that. But I'm not much fan of beta releases. Never have been, and probably will not ever be. I like to enjoy software of stable architecture. So, when I enter getfirefox.com in the address field, I always get a link to download the old Firefox 2.x (latest) in my own language.

A couple of weeks ago, I had something of a "reborn phase" over Linux. Then, I noticed that when you entered the address above over XFree86, you were redirected to the download link for Firefox 3 beta (still in your own language). I kept on wondering about this, if Linux architecture's are more convinced in the stability/security of the third generation's Firefox browser, so that they keep it as the standard deal. Wild speculations? Maybe, but when come thinking about it, Firefox 3 were actually implanted in GNOME by default. Awsome.

However..
Today I'm at my fiancé's parents house. We've had fresh pasta with tuna, creme fresh, cream and garlic (yummy!), and now I'm just sitting here at the computer, throwing a quick blog and seeing what's new. So, I get annoyed by the fact that Firefox does not seem to be installed. So, when I enter the (above mentioned) usual fast-download-url, I get inquired about downloading Mozilla Firefox v3.0 / Swedish. Oh my god. Huge happening! So, after a quick Google string I found out that the full (non beta) release has been out since 17:th of June, Thuesday exactly(!) two weeks ago. Whoa, guess who's absent.

Anyways, my beloved princess is calling from upstairs.
Gotta go! Later..
