I've already had time..

..to watch two more movies!

To start with, yesterday evening we watched 'To Die For' (1995), featuring Nicole Kidman, Joaquin Phoenix, Matt Dillon, among others. I really liked this film. The plot is about the young, and very much egocentric Suzanne Stone Maretto, who's greatest wish is to become a huge television celebrity. She get's her foot in by a local cable station's (where she eventually will be the weather gal). However, this is not enough for her, and willing to do anything(!) to get the full attention she's worth. Comedy, drama, thriller, you decide. Anyways, enjoyable till the end - 6/10!

Then we have 'Juice' from ever since 1992, featuring not only the famous rap artist Tupac Shakur, but also a young Omar Epps.

Also this one an enjoyable film. I remember in the beginning of our first reading year at upper secondary school, my friend Robert told me to go see this film. I even made a little film-review-homepage for assignment in our Dreamweaver/w3 course, where I've written down this film under the "Shall see.." part. It's fun, that was 2003, so it would take me five whole years until I finally got to see this film. Fun, I wasn't even sure what Pac flick I was going to see, first I thought Juice was the film with this whole murder-cop-conspiracy thing, but I guess that was something else. Anyways, this was a great film, even if the plot seems like a tape on frequent repeat. A quartet of best friends consider themselves as almost having a blood-relationship, reaching out for success in a world where it's all about struggle. When violence comes into play, it's no more kindergarten for those kids. Guess Quency should have attended the finals instead of that other shit. Worth seeing - before 10 AM, like I did this morning :-)
