Movie: "Corpse Bride" (2005)

At last, this animated piece of flamingo is now added to my have-seen list. It was really, well, what shall I say, well, it was a magnificant piece of work, anyhows. The movie was quite simply a set of beautiful motion pictures. In other words, the enimation factory has made a great work.

The plot is about a young woman's family, who've turned helplessly destitute on their older days. So, as they are a nobel family marrying into theirs is concidered classy. In this manner their daughter (who's amusing name is Victoria) is being used as a trap to get acquaintanced (--> married!) to a man who has got them riches. Heeeeeeere's Victor (voice by Johnny Depp), a young man coming from a not so welthy family. They are fishers, but they are at least not totally broke. So, in the beginning of the film the marriage is already set. However, the cermony is getting interupted by a word-fumbling Victor who cannot manage to speak his vowes correctly. So, he get's a ~12h notice for learning them. Then, when he's all alone in the woods, he suddenly gets a new acquaintance - the Corpse Bride, who has a little story of her own.

Well, now I won't give up anything more, taking the risk of spoiling important events. Anyways, it's a great film, which also just about all the way through is giving a relaxed stumach feeling to those a bit afraid of what's beyond this life. Just wonderful!

Hey guys, why have I gotten this sudden strong urge to watch the Batman movie from 1989 with Michael Keaton as Batman? Is it because of this whole Tim Burton epoch that I'm in? Dunno. Anyways.. The lastest film, that seems to be something of a sequel to 'Batman Begins', is now according to IMDb stated as complete. Swedish release date is set to the 25th of July. Damn, I was so sleepy last time I saw Batman Begins, so that it is almost like I need to watch it again, just to pick up some of the pieces. I wonder what my beloved fiancé will have to say about watching a couple of movies with a man dressed up as a bat? Hmmm, since she doesn't like Star Wars I'm not really sure. Definitely worth finding out.. :-)
