Just thought it would be a great thing to do, promoting a couple of them awsome tools, available at no cost, even sourcecode for those who has the skills to make improvements. So, here's a selection of free software that you should really get a look at:
- OpenOffice
- Audacity
- Gimp
- LiVES (Linux/UNIX only)
- 7-Zip
Of course, that was only a handfull. Like it was some meaningful gesture, giving all you people out there leeching your softwarez something else to think about. I mean, from my point of view, using commercial software is a way of saying that the whole thing is okey with you. Damnit, I know that coding is what lots of people do for a living, a real fun way of life aswell. However, I think that software developers should focus more on to profit on commercial business licenses. Ordinary folks should be able to use it at home. However, like I said. Really awsome that there are real people, like them heroes behind applicatino sets like The GIMP.
