Awsome Sunday bike trip!

Beautiful weather. I had never seen the city museum, so first we went there. Lots of old gadgets, especially worth noticing the great collection of skis. They had collected skis being used by Wasa race celebs like fourty years ago. Really cool. Not forgetting the usual museum stuff, on this very museum really focused on the North Sweden way of living. I went into a little wood cabinet where they two dolls depicting human being from ~100 yrs ago where living was tough(er?). At first I almost thought they was real, sort of scared me, heh..

I also managed to get a sweet photo of the wonderful woman who is to become my wedded wife.

Then, after the museum trip I had an idea (well, I've actually had it in mind for quite some time ^^). I've lived in this city for about a year, but never been to the far west area of the city, where a discussed loony bin was raised in the 1920:s. Lots of wack shit (lobotomy, Insulin shock therapy, just to mention some of it) took place there. It's only very vaugly described in Swedish Wikipedia articles. However, I wanted to see those buildlings. The bicycle jurney to this part of the city was a couple of kilometres, I think the round trip must have been closer to 15 kilometres. However, it was real fun.

As we got there we relaxed with a Coca-Cola. Evidently, the whole area of buildings was hard to discover though. It's told to have been reformed into kindergarten, convenience pharmacy, and suchlike. However, at least I had wanted to see the famous "chicken". Well, rumour says that it's a strange looking cook/chicken on the top of the roof on one of the highest buildings in [what was] 'the loony bin complex'. If this thing crowed every morning, is to me a mystery.
