Internet through GPRS!

Damnit, it's a shame I have no Internet service in my apartment. Yesterday, I tried something a bit odd. Since I have a COM-cable for my old cell phone, I tried downloading the Samsung software for Internet Access, and then used the GPRS service for my mobile service supplier to connect my PC to the net. It actually worked! Really slow though, loading the newspaper online took about a minute. Gah, need to get myself a real supplier. Rumours says that the students are working on some huge intranet that will be connected to the Internet aswell, but when will it be ready? Perhaps soon? :)
